Youth For Christ Camp Fearless 2023 Dry-Run

Another busy weekend ahead of us… busy but meaningful and fruitful! Two words that we almost always say in our prayers.

Today we went to Yangebup Baptist Church, to kick-off CFC-Youth For Christ’s Camp Fearless 2023 through a spirit-filled and inspiring dry run of the camp.

Please don’t be confused why we were at the Baptist Church… Yes, Christians can join forces to create a divine maash-up like no other, LOL. We were just renting the beautiful and very functional venue for the dry run.

The Fearless Squad

Anyway, a bunch of fired up teens, ready to evangelise future YFCs with their infectious enthusiasm.

In fact, 30 plus of the energetic service team, brought their A-game, and the atmosphere was like a superhero convention (LOL) were everyone, especially the leaders, made sure that every detail was covered from start to finish.

YFC Coordinators Unleashed

The YFC Coordinators were like the energizer bunnies of the South Chapter. They never run out of energy, fun ideas, and were always laser focused.

Tito Roge and Tita Jane, the ever-youthful coordinators of the South Chapter, were the masterminds behind this spirited event.

They orchestrated the whole dry run, making sure it ran smoothly and ensuring that everyone were included and have participated in any way possible.

The Belmont Brigade

Every major event in Couples For Christ, needs a strong support system, and that’s where Tito Jess and Tita Cris, the YFC Coordinators from Belmont, entered the picture.

With their wisdom and their joy to serve, they provided a perfect balance to the South Chapter team. Together, they formed a dynamic duo (LOL), ready to take on any challenge the Camp Fearless dry run threw their way.

The Rising Stars

They say the future belongs to the young… young at heart. LOL, and that couldn’t be truer at Camp Fearless dry run.

Meet Tita Ampy and yours truly, Tito Doni… the up-and-coming YFC Coordinators of the South Chapter.

We both tried our best to make a difference and to become beacons of inspiration for everyone especially the youth.

So, the dry run started with a morning worship led by Lance A. and accompanied by the YFC Music Ministry led by Elijah DDR.

The music ministry’s voices, led by Marikit M. and their musical instruments resonated through the hall, lifting our hearts and igniting the flames of faith.

Lance A., the our worship leader, guided us through the praise and worship session that left us feeling positive and ready to meet the challenges of the day.

The Dry Run Delight

The Camp Fearless dry run was the ultimate rehearsal, where everyone got a taste of what the actual entry camp is.

Lance A. and Sharie F., the dynamic duo, led the charge with their passion and .

From sessions one to five, we were taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions, learning, and laughter.

Each talk, sharing, and praise and worship segment brought us closer to the heart of God and showcased the incredible talents of these young warriors of faith.

Oh, I won’t be mentioning the complete list of speakers, sharers, and worship leaders for Camp Fearless so that there will be a bit of a surprise.

Constructive Criticism, Camp-Style

Imagine a panel of “Titos” and “Titas” offering feedback like judges on a reality show.

As entertaining as it was enlightening, the coordinators and leaders provided constructive criticism to help the kids hone their skills.

Positive and negative comments flew left and right, ensuring that every speaker, sharer, worship leader and even the DGLs that will lead the pray over session, would shine their brightest when the big day arrived.

All of them showed a lot of promise and we were all amazed and truly blessed to see these very talented kids showing and sharing their God-given abilities.

Fellowship and Full Bellies

Amidst the whirlwind of activities, there was one thing we could always count on—food!

Between sessions, we gathered to share meals, laughter, and stories. The joy of breaking bread together created an unbreakable bond among the service team.

It was a time to refuel our bodies and nourish our spirits, knowing that the journey we were on was not just about the destination but the people we meet along the way.

Conclusion: Forever Fearless

As the dry run for Camp Fearless came to an end, we couldn’t help but feel a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration.

Camp Fearless had left an indelible mark on our hearts, reminding us that faith, fun, friendship, and fellowship are the ingredients for an unforgettable adventure.

It was a very long day but the service to the Lord was worth every second of it!

On to the next service for the Lord and that will be tomorrow, 9 July, the Dedication Day for South Chapter Unit B Christian Life Program in Piara Waters.

So, fasten your seatbelts and prepare for the next chapter of this extraordinary journey!

And for that may God be praised!
